Description
Les Marmottes – Filles et Maths (SRS, 21-25 April 2025)
Les Marmottes – Filles et Maths is an introductory one week-course in mathematical research (FR) in Les Diablerets that has been running since 2023, organised by Sandie Moody (teacher at Collège de Genève) and Elise Raphael (scientific assistant at UNIGE), both of whom hold a doctorate in mathematics from the University of Geneva.
Who is it aimed at?
2nd year students from Geneva and Vaud interested in mathematics. We will accept 3rd-year students from Geneva or 1st-year students from the Canton of Vaud if there are still places available.
No prior knowledge or level is required: we do not ask for maths grades or options. The only requirements are to be curious and motivated!
The costs of transport, accommodation, meals and sporting activities are covered by the SwissMAP at the University of Geneva and the other sponsors of Les Marmottes.
