Description
European Kylerec is a five-day residential workshop aimed at graduate students in symplectic and contact topology. It is modelled after the MIT Talbot Workshop and the symplectic spin-off Kylerec. The core idea of the workshop is to have participants living communally in a location far from the distractions of everyday life. The participants are responsible for giving a majority of the talks. The workshop will have two senior mathematicians as mentors who will prepare a detailed syllabus of lectures to be given by the participants, help the students prepare, and moderate the discussion after the talks.
